Bio of Owner
Edna (Myers) Lee, RN MSN, graduated from Kingston School of Nursing (Jamaica) in 1985 and practiced as a pediatric nurse. She graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She continued to pursue her nursing education and, in 2009, graduated with a Master of Science in Health System Administration from Seton Hall University.
She has over 33 years of nursing experience working with the Pediatric /Maternal Child Health population in different hospitals in New Jersey. Her nursing experience included working as a visiting nurse, assigned to provide nursing services to patients in many inner-city communities in Essex County.
In 2002, her ability to comprehend and read Spanish was attributed to her being hired as a Service Coordinator with the Essex County Special Child Health Services program to coordinate services for eligible children ages 0-3 who voluntarily participate in the New Jersey Early Intervention System program.
All children receive services in their natural environment as indicated by their Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Ms. Lee is the past president of the Jamaica Nurses Association of NJ and the recipient of The Jamaica Counsel General Distinguished Community Service Award.
